Since 1985 Letizia Borelli has exhibited her works in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, participating in events of national and international significance.
From 1984 to 1986 he worked on the creation of a permanent set design at the “La Piramide” Theater in Rome, directed by Amelio Memè Perlini, at the suggestion of Prof. and artist Nato Frascà, his teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
He held his first monographic exhibition, “Direction Movement Expansion,” in 1990 at Palazzo Valentini (Rome), presented by art critic and historian Mario Parracciani.
Since then, his work has been exhibited in prestigious settings and appreciated by such illustrious figures as art critic Vittorio Sgarbi and Professor Bruno Rosada.
During the 12th edition of “Il Natale dei 100 Alberi d’Autore,” organized in 2005 by Sergio Valente at the L’Oréal Academy in Rome, Letizia Borelli’s marble and glass sculpture “Natività” (2005) was associated with actress Claudia Cardinale, an icon of Italian and international cinema, famous for films such as Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard and Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in the West.
The event featured actress Tosca D’Aquino as a testimonial, with Nancy Brilli as a special godmother. Among the notable participants was Pino Strabioli, a director, actor, and television host, known for his work in cultural and theatrical popularization, as well as for his hosting of programs such as Raiuno’s Il caffè.
In 2005, his thesis titled “Habitation as the Psychosomatics of Man” was selected and published by St. Petersburg State University as it was considered particularly significant and formative.
She has exhibited in Tokyo in 2009, in Madrid in 2011, in Osaka and in the “Salon Art-shopping” at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in 2013, as well as in numerous other Italian cities.
In 2021, one of her works was chosen as the cover of the book “The Leaf Mask” by writer Paola Ottaviano, who, by participating in numerous literary competitions, has made Letizia Borelli’s artistic and professional image even more multifaceted.
In 2022, on the occasion of the concert organized by musician Franco Tinto at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, she made jewelry inspired by the musical pieces, commissioned for each author of the lyrics.
Among the most recent events, Carlotta Proietti – actress, set and costume designer and daughter of Maestro Gigi Proietti – interviewed Letizia Borelli in her Atelier on the occasion of the art and jewelry exhibition “Wood and Fire.”
