My journal

An internationally renowned Italian artist, she was born in Rome, where from childhood she breathed creativity having grown up in the workshop of her father Aldo, a master cabinetmaker and restorer.

From a very young age, she developed a multifaceted talent, forged her art on a deep knowledge of materials and techniques, and constantly refined her skills, which enabled her to build an exceptional artistic and professional career.

Having graduated as a Ceramist, from the State Art Institute in Rome, at the age of nineteen she left the parental roof, supported herself in her studies and began to build her first house from the ground up. Later, she would be sought after and appreciated as director of works in architectural restorations of prestigious houses and villas, leaving indelible marks of her artistic flair, and continuing in parallel her production as a painter, sculptor and ceramist.

Starting in 1980, during her years at the Academy of Fine Arts, where she majored in Painting, she began exhibiting her creations in art galleries and her own teachers commissioned works from her. Frascà Nato, a well-known television director and teacher of Theory of Perception and Psychology of Form, proposed her a painting exhibition at Amelio “Memè” Perlini's Roman theater “La Piramide,” where her work would remain on display for years.

Her artistic and professional journey is enriched by important recognition in the art world and esteem from critics, artists, philosophers and entrepreneurs, which led her to quickly cross national borders, with exhibitions and events highlighting her achievements.

Letizia Borelli leads a full life, in which every moment becomes an opportunity to enrich her worldview and fuel her creativity. Among these, flying represents a privileged dimension, an experience that allows her to observe reality from new perspectives and expand the boundaries of her thinking.

Her tireless curiosity and artistic research, accompanied by a desire to learn and a love for her work, led her to study art, techniques, philosophy and psychology in several international countries, eventually earning a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a thesis entitled “Dwelling as the Psychosomatics of Man,” later published by the same university.

After highly successful studies with master glassmakers and goldsmiths in Venice, Piacenza, Milan, Florence, Rome and Catania, he acquired the qualification of Master glassmaker and goldsmith.

She plays a key role in passing on her knowledge to new generations of artists, sharing knowledge and visions that nurture the growth of young talent. Since her years at the Academy, she has been in demand as a teacher and is dedicated to teaching, setting up theoretical and practical workshops in sculpture, painting and fabrication in her studio and in private schools.

Over the years, Letizia Borelli bought a large space surrounded by the nature of Sabina, transforming it into an artistic-cultural hub where exhibitions, events and workshops alternate, attracting students, artists, collectors and visitors of different nationalities, with aspirations to turn it into a foundation.

As a passionate researcher, the artist is constantly exploring new techniques, materials and art forms, always carrying forward a spirit of innovation. Her art is not just production, but a continuous evolution and experimentation. Letizia Borelli is a visionary leader, and with her ability to combine art and business, she has been able to build an internationally renowned brand and trademark that enriches the excellence of Made in Italy.
